Back in 2014, Chris and Addie were running SweetLegs from their basement in Lake Country, BC, packing orders by hand and chasing one big dream: to create clothing that helps women feel like their best selves.

After welcoming their fourth daughter, Addie found herself searching for something simple: a pair of comfortable, affordable leggings that fit her newly postpartum body without compromising on style. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to make it herself.

With their last bit of savings, Chris and Addie took a leap of faith and launched SweetLegs, determined to build a brand that celebrated real bodies and real women.

They didn’t just want to make leggings that felt good — they wanted to create clothes that made women feel good in their own skin. Their goal wasn’t just comfort; it was confidence and empowerment.

That simple belief became the heartbeat of SweetLegs.

Chris and Addie still remember the day their very first shipment arrived — stacked boxes lined up outside their front door.

Soon, the basement operation grew into a bustling warehouse and storefront in Lake Country, where a small but mighty team packed boxes, greeted customers, and started building what would become one of Canada’s most-loved legging brands.

Fast forward to today, and SweetLegs has sold over 5.3 million pairs of leggings across Canada.
