From its humble beginnings in 2014, SweetLegs has always championed the idea that fashion should be comfortable, stylish, and accessible to all. Designing clothes that range from size 00 to 28, SweetLegs offers over 1000 unique styles, distributed through hundreds of Independent Distributors across Canada and enjoyed by countless customers worldwide.
“What was once just an idea at our kitchen table is now a product that encourages our customers to celebrate their individuality and feel confident and beautiful,” expresses Addie Pafiolis, co-founder of SweetLegs. “That’s what makes this all worthwhile."
Embracing Authenticity and Inclusivity
At the core of SweetLegs’ mission is a commitment to body positivity and authenticity. By hiring real women from the Okanagan community instead of professional models, SweetLegs creates an authentic and diverse image of beauty. This approach not only promotes self-confidence but also reflects the brand’s dedication to representing real women.
Launching the Ambassador Program
Building on the success of the Independent Distributor Program, SweetLegs is excited to announce the launch of its Ambassador Program on April 15th, 2024. This new initiative offers influencers and avid SweetLegs fans the opportunity to engage with and represent the brand, creating another avenue for income while spreading SweetLegs' empowering message.
“We’re always evolving,” reminisces Chris Pafiolis, co-founder of SweetLegs. “In 2016, when our site crashed during Black Friday due to an overwhelming influx of orders, we migrated to Shopify and broke our sales record the following Black Friday. Launching the Ambassador Program marks yet another evolution of SweetLegs, reflecting our response to the changing fashion industry and our commitment to creating opportunities while supporting our community.”
Commitment to Community and Charity
Since its inception, SweetLegs has actively supported various charitable organizations and initiatives, including Mamas for Mamas, Cops for Kids, and Duffels for Dignity. In 2017, following the loss of their newborn son Theo, SweetLegs launched a commemorative leggings print, donating $5 from every sale to support families with palliative children. This initiative underscores SweetLegs' belief in building confidence through community support.
“10 years ago, we had no idea the impact we were going to make,” admits Chris Pafiolis. “With every product we design and every customer we touch, we spread a positive message while supporting the growth of our talented team, without whom we wouldn’t be here today.”
A Celebration to Remember
On April 12th, 2024, we hosted a massive celebration party at our retail store in Lake Country, where our business began. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, memories, and a shared sense of accomplishment. We were thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our community, customers, and dedicated team.
