Megan’s vibrant energy and genuine love for SweetLegs make her a true standout. Let’s dive into her story and find out what being a SweetLegs Ambassador is all about!

Meet Megan McKenzie

Tell us about yourself!
Hi! I’m Megan. I’m a mom of two and a Registered Nurse from Manitoba. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially getting out and being active with my children.

Megan’s SweetLegs Story

How did you discover SweetLegs?

I first found SweetLegs when I was pregnant with my second child. Being a plus size woman and pregnant I found it difficult to find clothes that fit comfortably.  Any maternity clothes I did own constantly shifted and didn’t fit right. A friend gave me a pair of SweetLegs to try and the rest is history.

After my son was born my love continued.  My favourite thing about SweetLegs is that I never have to adjust them, they stay put - no rolling or falling! I was so hooked that I became an Independent Distributor.

Tell us your favourite SweetLegs print or style! What makes it special to you?

I’ve always loved the regular waistband but am becoming a huge fan of the high waisted. My favourite print is Epiphany. I just love all the colours and design.

Life as a SweetLegs Ambassador

What inspired you to become a SweetLegs Ambassador?

I started as an Independent Distributor but I also worked full-time and had two young kids.  I couldn’t give the business the attention it needed to flourish.  When presented with the opportunity to become an Ambassador it was an easy decision to make. My love of SweetLegs didn’t falter, I just needed something that didn’t take up as much of my time.

What's your lifestyle like and how do you schedule in being a SweetLegs Ambassador?
I am busy. Point blank. That’s the amazing thing about the Ambassador program, I can set aside a few minutes a day to make posts/content, share it and the brand does the rest. 

What does a typical day as a SweetLegs Ambassador look like for you?

I will typically spend some time in the evening or on my breaks at work to create posts. Usually when a launch is happening I will create multiple notes and save them to create a quick Instagram post when I have a few minutes. It makes the process much quicker and the pictures we are given makes it easy. I try to create multiple posts throughout each launch to keep the content fresh. 

What’s your favorite way to share SweetLegs?

I find social media is the best way to share. When I do get compliments about what I am wearing I share my social media handles and encourage people to use my link. I will always rave about the versatility of SweetLegs, the softness and comfort factor, especially with plus size women.

I find Instagram and Facebook are the easiest ways to connect, but word of mouth has been helpful. Customers will recommend the product to friends and then they will contact me to find out what is best for them.

How has being a SweetLegs Ambassador impacted your life?

Falling in love with SweetLegs has been the most amazing thing for me. As a plus size woman, who is also almost 6 feet tall, I had a lot of difficulty finding clothes that fit comfortably and were tall enough for my long legs.  Prior to SweetLegs my ankles were very cold! 

Being an Ambassador has given my love of SweetLegs a perk - I get to share my love of the products while earning a little cash on the side!

What's the funniest or most heartwarming comment you've received about your SweetLegs?

While wearing my Neon Safari biker shorts: “those are some bright shorts, where do I get some?”
